Join us in Eugene for Fall Media Day on Wednesday, October 24th

Start the 2018-2019 publication cycle off right by joining Northwest Scholastic Press and the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in Eugene for Fall Media Day 2018.

We’ve rebranded! Fall Press Day is now Fall Media Day. This change reflects our dedication to acknowledge all forms of communication, outside of the press.

Our name isn’t the only update Media Day received – we’ve also added a fourth session of workshops for all participants, giving students and advisers even more opportunities to learn from industry professionals and professors at 2:00 pm. There is no longer a closing keynote speaker.

Hillsboro native and SOJC alumna, Alexa Tieu, joins us as the keynote speaker this year. Tieu is a sports producer for FOX Sports Arizona and has been working for the company since August of 2013. Prior to Arizona, she worked in sports broadcasting in Idaho, Texas, and Oregon.
